How De Christelijke Onderwijsgroep linked CCM in the Cloud to OSIRIS and manages its own documents.

De Christelijke Onderwijsgroep goes live with CCM in the Cloud

COG uses OSIRIS, a widely used student information system. An interface has been developed in CCM in the Cloud (now: CustomerConnect) from which documents can be created, with the data retrieved from OSIRIS via APIs. In a later phase, OSIRIS will be the starting point and CCM will be integrated with OSIRIS.

In the interface, the user can make a single document request (for a specific student) or a bulk document request, which creates several documents that meet the criteria given (such as student number(s), document status and reference date). Once the document has been created, the user can check it before it is uploaded to OSIRIS.

The user in control

In this solution, business empowerment is central. We believe users should be able to manage content themselves. They can do this in our template web design environment in the cloud, which is ideally suited to end users making changes on their own. End users can then easily put these changes into use themselves, without the involvement of Harmony or their 'own' IT department. Often, Harmony develops the documents in a 1st phase of the implementation, after which training on the job transfers the knowledge to maintain them yourself. More than 40 communications (some of them multilingual, in Spanish and English) were developed together with COG. A few examples of the communications developed:

  • Work placement agreement (beroepspraktijkvormingsovereenkomst)
  • Education agreement
  • Start of school year letters
  • Absence letters
  • Address labels
  • MBO statement

Interactive documents

Recently, a pilot was run to generate interactive documents. This lets COG add information to documents that is not recorded in OSIRIS but does need to appear on the document. End users can develop these interactive documents themselves, and they can decide which parts are interactive and which are not. The result is an interactive PDF (or email) that the end user can still adjust. With this, CCM in the Cloud makes it possible, for example, to:

  • Change paragraphs (with a 'rich text' option to make text italic or bold);
  • Add one or more paragraphs from a library;
  • Hide paragraphs;
  • Optionally change the order of paragraphs;
  • Insert free text.

Pay per use

Like COG, do you need a solution for smaller volumes? Harmony lets you pay per communication (pay-per-use). That makes our CCM solution interesting for organisations with smaller volumes too (up to 500K communications a year). In this solution, infrastructure and licences are shared to save costs, but you still benefit from all the CCM features and the advantages of the cloud.

Would you like to use our solution and services, just like COG? Then get in touch with us, with no obligation, and we will be glad to look at the possibilities with you.
